Our mission is to serve as ambassadors for Grambling State University to increase and promote interaction with Alumni; Provide financial support to the GSU Men & Women’s Athletic Programs; Accentuate the outstanding accomplishments of former GSU student athletes and administrators.
Our Vision is simply to restore and maintain the love, positive image and pride of Grambling State University to ensure that GSU transcends from generation to generation.

History of Grambling State and it’s Legends

Grambling State University emerged from the desire of African-American farmers in rural north Louisiana to educate black children in the northern and western parts of the state. Today, GSU is still regarded as the place “where everybody is somebody”.The Grambling Legends Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and represents the heritage of accomplished graduates of Grambling State University (GSU).
Our members span from all industries including NBA & NFL Hall of Fame inductees and successful business executives. GSU produced Paul “Tank” Younger a College Football Hall of Famer and pioneering HBCU player in the NFL.

Membership

We have 2 types of members:

Grambling Legend Members - Student-athletes who participated in varsity level sports at Grambling State University and would like to become a member.

Grambling Legends Associate Members - Individuals who are interested in supporting the ongoing programs of the Grambling Legends.
